I
hate Wednesdays! This day that has a bad reputation as the most pointless day
of the week. Many people even call it small Saturdays, the reason is obvious.
Also known as Hump day (because it’s in the middle of the week with downhill
towards the weekend), here are few facts about Wednesday, that you help you to
survive through the day.
1. Wednesday is named after Woden, the most important God in the German
pantheon, often identified with the Norse God Odin. Again the Roman God
Mercury is associated with Odin and Woden.
2. Survey says
that bosses are more acceptable on Wednesdays. Are you anticipating a leave
request? Well, thank me later.
3. Bad news ladies; women look oldest at 3.30pm on Wednesdays. That’s
what a research says. Set mirror check at 3:30 sharp. Salon visit or not, you
decide.
4. Wednesday is,
statistically, the best night for dating (ahem). Wanna hangout at some pubs near you?
Last but not
the least! If you are reading this, it means you have made it till the middle
of the week and you can certainly make it to the weekend! Meanwhile I will try to like Wednesday.
