Good news folks! Now you can
party till you drop without worrying about the consequences? But before you
start planning, let me break in. North Korea has claimed that they have created
hangover free alcohol. Now, I am not a big fan of North Korea’s foreign policy or
Kim’s hairstyle. First they were trending globally by claiming to have
successfully tested a supposed hydrogen bomb. I won’t taste that alcohol any
time soon. After all hangovers are not those bad. Just kidding, we all know how
dreadful, painful and confusing they are. Overindulging can cause you trouble,
so you better “Drink Responsibly” and enjoy the party.
Prevention
·
Don’t drink in an empty stomach. Eat
carbohydrate rich food before you start.

Drink plain water or non-sparkling soft drinks
in between drinks.
·
Grab a bottle of water before you sleep. Drink
more water if you wake up in the middle of your sleep.
How to handle once hangover is a reality?
Let’s face it, hangovers are unhealthy, can cause severe
health issues and takes time to wear off. There is no magic wand to completely
undo it. Meanwhile these are few things that you can do.

It’s the time when your body needs more hydration.
Start with plain water. Coconut water is equivalent to high quality sports
drinks minus the artificial stuffs. Drink coconut water if you can.

The headache seems to make things worse. A glass
of lukewarm water or green tea will help you to handle the morning rituals well.
Take a shower, a real good one.
·
Eggs, Banana, Oatmeal, tomato juice, ginger ale
are some of the things you can eat to start the day with.
·
If headache still persists you can have an over
the counter medicine for headache. But don’t make it a habit.
Finally have patience. This will also pass!
